Top officers serving in the state of West Bengal have been promoted to the IAS officers rank.
The state administration of West Bengal has lately issued a notification mandating two top officers serving in the state eligible for promotion to the IAS officers rank.
One among the two, Krishna Kant Singh is the incumbent Special Secretary of the State Vigilance Commission whereas the second officer Amitabha Sengupta is currently serving as Special Secretary in the State Department.
