The 1979 batch IAS officer of Assam-Meghalaya cadre, Vinay Sheel Oberoi, Secretary in Ministry of Woman & Child Development now has been appointed as Secretary, Dept of Higher Education in the Ministry of Human Resource & Development in place of Satyanarayan Mohanty(IAS, TG:80).
