Indian Foreign Service officer Vikram Misri’s tenure has been curtailed and he has been given another significant responsibility beyond that.
As per a notification issued by the competent authority, name of IFS officer Vikram Misri has been mandated for another significant role in the days to come post completion of his current responsibility.
As the Deputy National Security Advisor in the National Security Council Secretariat, the curtailment of tenure of Vikram Misri, IFS (1989) has been mandated where he is serving as Deputy National Security Advisor .
Misri is to replace IFS Vinay Kwatra assuming his next office of Foreign Secretary w.e.f. 15th July 2024.
