IAS officers Vikas Garg & Ajit Balaji Joshi have been entrusted with new portfolios in the state of Punjab.
As per the recent notification issued by the state administration of Punjab, Vikas Garg, 1998-batch IAS officer, has been transferred as Principal Secretary, Housing & Urban Development. He previously was serving as Principal Secretary, Food, Civil Supplies & Consumer Affairs,
On the other hand a year 2003 batch IAS officer Ajit Balaji Joshi, who was Secretary of Agriculture and Farmers’ Welfare, has now been shifted as Administrative Secretary, Rural Development & Panchayats, replacing Mr. Dilraj Singh, 2005-batch IAS officer.
