Vigilance Commissioner Rajiv will be acting Central Vigilance Commissioner (CVC) until a regular appointment is made.Rajiv, former Director-General, Central Industrial Security Force, took over the responsibility on September 29, a day after Pradeep Kumar completed his tenure. Kumar took over as the CVC in July 2011.
