Senior IAS V Umashankar has been appointed as Secretary, Ministry of Road Transport and Highways.
Following a directive by the Appointment Committee of the Cabinet (ACC), name of Senior IAS V Umashankar has been mandated for the appointed as Secretary, Ministry of Road Transport and Highways.
A year 1993 batch IAS officer of Haryana cadre, V Umashankar is at present rendering services in the cadre is now expected to assume new charge as Secretary in the Ministry of Road Transport and Highways.
