The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) on Thursday declared the results of the Indian Economic Service/Indian Statistical Service Examination 2015.
The written examination was conducted in May this year and the interviews for personality test in August. The number of candidates recommended for appointment to the Indian Economic Service is 14, including 8 General, 3 Other Backward Classes (OBC), 2 Scheduled Caste (SC) and 1 Scheduled Tribe (ST) candidates.
The number of candidates recommended for appointment to the Indian Statistical Service is 50, including 25 General, 12 OBC, 8 SC and 5 ST candidates. The number of vacancies as per Government data is 15 for Indian Economic Service and 55 for Indian Statistical Service.
