Uttar Pradesh Government has given a surprise move to the Deepak Singhal (IAS, 1982), Principal Home Secretary who has been appointed after the removal of Anil Gupta from this post following the gangrape and murder of two cousin sisters in Badaun. Rakesh Bahadur (IAS, 1979) will take charge as new Principal Home Secretary.
