UP Government declares Rs. 2 L relief fund for note ban victims’s kin

Uttar Pradesh has become first state in the country to announce compesation for family of those who died under the impact of the demonetization. A press statement from the Akhilesh Yadav government on wednesday said ” It is unfortunate that people have died after standing in ATM and bank queues in the state because of notebandi’. The chief minister has announced Rs. 2 Lakh each from his discretionary fund to the families of all such people.
