Uttar Pradesh chief minister Mr. Akhilesh yadav paid homage to martyrs on Police Smriti diwas in Lucknow. He also provided cheque of Rs. 5 Lakhs to parents of martyrs except thier wives. The announcement to increase of Rs. 100 in balanced diet for non gazetted policemen were also done on this occasion.
