IRS officer Unmesh Sharad Wagh has been granted an extension of entrustment of additional charge as Chairperson, Jawaharlal Nehru Port Authority.
The Appointments Committee of the Cabinet has approved the proposal of the Ministry of Ports, Shipping and Waterways for extension of entrustment of additional charge of the post of Chairperson (JS level), Jawaharlal Nehru Port Authority to Shri Unmesh Sharad Wagh.
A year 2000 batch IRS officer (C&CE) Unmesh Sharad Wagh is currently serving as Deputy Chairperson, Jawaharlal Nehru Port Authority. Now he will continue serving on the postion for a period of six months w.e.f. 03.07.2024 or till regular appointment to the post or until further orders, whichever is the earlier.
