Today, Union Urban Development Minister, Venkaiah Naidu flagged off train service between Central Secretariat and Mandi House Section of phase III said, he has written a letter to his Cabinet colleagues to use Delhi Metro to help decongest traffic and reduce pollution.
The three-km underground corridor has two stations – Janpath and Mandi House. It is expected to serve 70,000 additional commuters. Mandi House station will provide interchange facility with the currently operational Dwarka Sector-21 to Noida City Centre line.
