Two IPS officers have been appointed as Superintendent of Police in the state of Manipur.
One of the two chosen IPS officers, S Ibomcha (IPS) who currently serving as SP, Thoubal, has been transferred as Commanding Officer of the 6th IRB, with an additional charge of the Commando Unit SP.
Simultaneously other IPS officer Mohammed Zaib Zakir has been moved from his position as senior SO to the Director General of Police to take charge as SP of Jiribam district.
