Two IPS officers have been posted as Deputy Inspector General in Punjab Police.
Following a recently issued directive by the state administration of Punjab, names of two top cops have been mandated for the position of DIG in Punjab Police. Names of the chosen two IPS officers include Jagdale Nilambari Vijay and Swapan Sharma.
A year 2008 batch IPS officer Jagdale Nilambari Vijay has now been appointed as DIG, Ludhiana Range, whereas IPS Swapan Sharma (2009-batch IPS officer) has been posted as DIG, Ferozepur.
