Following a key reshuffle in Punjab police, two new IPS officers have been posted as Additional Inspector General of Police in the state of Punjab.
Name of the two chosen Indian Police Services officers are IPS Ravjot Grewal and IPS Ashwini Goyal. In these IPS-level postings, Ravjot Grewal (2015 batch) has been deputed as AIG, Counter Intelligence, Punjab, SAS Nagar, moving from his previous role as AIG, Technical Services, Chandigarh.
On the other hand, IPS Ashwini Gotyal (2016 batch), formerly AIG, HRD, Punjab, has been posted as AIG, Anti-Narcotics Task Force (ANTF), SAS Nagar.
