IPS officers R Jayalakshmi and Ch Srikanth have joined Andhra Pradesh Police as Inspector General (IGP).
In accordance with a recently issued directive by the state administration of Andhra Pradesh, names of two top cops, R Jayalakshmi and Ch Srikanth have been mandated for the position of IGP.
A year 2002 batch IPS officer Ch Srikanth, currently serving as the IGP, Law and Order, has been appointed on the position of IGP, Operations, whereas 2006 batch IPS officer R Jayalakshmi has been moved as the IGP/Director of the Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB).
