Two IAS officers have been posted to significant administrative roles in the state of Assam.
The Government of Assam has made key postings in its administration, with key officials being assigned new responsibilities. Names among the chosen officers include Jadav Saikia and Kuntal Moni Sarmah.
With the new order now IAS Officer Jadav Saikia (Assam-Meghalaya 2011) has been given the additional charge of the post as Secretary – Power (E) Department, Assam. On the other hand, IAS Kuntal Moni Sarmah (KMS) (Assam-Meghalaya cadre) has been elevated to Indian Administrative Service (IAS) and has now been appointed as Joint Secretary – Industries, Commerce & Public Enterprises Department.
