Due to the administrative hiccups, two junior IPS officers are to get higher pay than their seniors in the state of Haryana.
The state government of Haryana has ordered a revision of pay for 2 IPS officers of 1997 batch whereas 4 officers belonging to the 1996 batch remain waiting.
The names of the two IPS officers whose pay revision has been order by the state government include Amitabh Dhillon and Sanjay Kumar and this took place following their promotion to the rank of additional director general of police (ADGP).
On the other hand year 1996-batch IPS officers in the rank of additional director general of police (ADGP) are still waiting for a circular to be notified an increase in their pay.
