Two top cops have been posted as Special Director at the Center.
As per a directive recently issued by the Appointment Committee of the Cabinet, appointment of IPS officer Vitul Kumar, (UP:93), ADG, CRPF as Special Director General, CRPF (Level-16 in the pay matrix) has been mandated against existing vacancy.
On the other hand the appointment of IPS officer R Prasad Meena, (AM:93), ADG, BSF as Special Director General, BSF(Level-16 in the pay matrix) has been approved against existing vacancy.
