Two Indian Administrative Services officers are being awarded by ECI for Best Electoral Practices.
Two officers , Shikha C (IAS: 2004: KN) and Divya Prabhu (IAS: 2014: KN) have been selected for ‘Best Electoral Practice’ awards for the year 2023.
The award is instituted by Election Commission of India (ECI). The award presentation ceremony is to be held on January 25, 2024 in the Capital as part of National Voters’ Day.
Under the general award category, the selection committee has chosen IAS Divya for adopting best practices in her electoral management role which also includes addition of young voters and specially-abled citizens across the district.
Under ‘best performing state’ category, Shikha bagged the award for creating the awareness about freebies among voters along with effective implementation of model code of conduct.
