Kerala CM has directed the transfer of Thrissur Police Commissioner Ankit Asokan.
Lately CM P Vijayan announced a comprehensive investigation into complaints lodged by the attendees of the Thrissur Pooram festival and the temple authorities.
State CM Pinarayi Vijayan, has directed the transfer of Ankit Asokan, Thrissur Police Commissioner, amid public scrutiny of the police’s handling of the Thrissur Pooram festival in Kerala.
Now finally the official transfer depends upon the approval from the Election Commission. Additionally after Asokan now the government has also instructed the transfer of Sudarsan C, Assistant Commissioner of Police.
