Five IPS officers of 1994 batch will be receiving elevation in their rank and will become DGP.
Following a directive issued by the Appointment Committee of the Cabinet (ACC), five top cops hailing from the batch of year 1994 serving in the state of Andhra Pradesh have been mandated to get the DGP rank.
The process initiated by the Telangana government for the promotion of IPS officers is going to get them promoted to the DGP rank.
Among the officers in the list the names include Hyderabad police commissioner K Sreenivasa Reddy, Intelligence Bureau chief B Shivadhar Reddy, officer on Intelligence Bureau deputation Apte Vinayak Prabhakar, additional director general of police (TS Police Academy) Abhilasha Bisht and director of TG-Cyber Security Bureau & CID chief Shikha Goel.
