TN Venkatesh & P Umanath awarded promotion in Tamil Nadu to the grade of Principal Secretary.
The Government of Tamil Nadu has elevated five 2001-batch IAS officers to the prestigious Principal Secretary grade and the list includes names of IAS officers TN Venkatesh & P Umanath.
One of the chosen five officers promoted TN Venkatesh is currently serving as the Commissioner of Backward Classes Welfare, whereas the other IAS officer P Umanath is at present serving as the Secretary – I to Chief Minister in the Secretariat.
