Three IAS officers of 1988 & 1992 batch have been appointed as Joint Secretary in the Department of Higher Education in the Ministry of HRD, Government of India. The two officers are:
- Sukhbir Singh Sandhu (1988 batch, Uttarakhand cadre)
- Rakesh Ranjan (1992 batch, MT cadre)
- Shashi Prakash Goyal (1989 batch, UP cadre)
