Three members of the Monetary Policy Committee (MPC) are going to retire tomorrow on the forth of October, 2024.
As per the service rules of the Reserve Bank of India, a work tenure of four years is assigned as the term/contract of its three external members’ committee.
Now tomorrow, on the forth of October, 2024 the four year term/contract of three external members of MPC is concluding and the existing external members will complete their term in the RBI.
Names of the Members completing terms on Thursday on 04 October 2024 are Ashima Goyal, Shashanka Bhide and Jayanth R Varma.
