The Government has appointed three external members of MPC.
The Government of India has recently appointed 3 external members of the Monetary Policy Committee (MPC) of the RBI. Names among the three officers include Ram Singh, Saugata Bhattacharya, and Dr Nagesh Kumar.
Ram Singh is considered as the most significant entry in the Reserve Bank of India (RBI) who currently is serving as Director of Delhi School of Economics.
