ECI has picked thirteen officers for Best Electoral Practice Awards for the year 2023.
The announcement has come from the Election Commission of India, prior to the celebration of the fourteenth National Voters Day on January 25, 2024 in the Capital. It has awarded 13 officials for the Best Electoral Practice Awards — 2023. These officers have played key role and displayed exemplary performance and now they are to be awarded in various categories and sub-categories.
The list includes in four categories as mentioned below:

2004 Batch IAS Shikha C (KN), Election Management (Expenditure). Presently, she is Commissioner of Commercial Taxes, Karnataka.

Syed Nasir Jamil, System Analyst, Chief Electoral Office, Jharkhand for IT Initiatives
2009 Batch IAS Sarfaraz Ahmad ( TG), Additional Chief Electoral Officer, Telangana for Election Management.
Rohan Saxena, Chief Executive Officer, Zila Panchayat, Niwari (Madhya Pradesh) for Voter’s Education and Electoral Participation
