IAS Ajay Bhatnagar will not complete his as Special Director in the Central Bureau of Investigation.
The compulsive reason behind the short term allowed to Bhatnagar is the curtailing of his tenure by the competent authority due to his lateral shifting in the NHRC.
The senior Indian Administrative Services Ajay Bhatnagar officer hails from 1989 batch of Jharkhand cadre. IAS Bhatnagar ‘s tenure has been curtailed as Special Director in the due to his shifting as Director General (Investigation) in the National Human Rights Commission.
His appointment in the NHRC as Director General (Investigation), is for next nine months up to November 30, 2024 i.e. date of his superannuation.
