The Appointments Committee of the Cabinet (ACC) has approved the extension of tenure for four senior Indian Administrative Service (IAS) officers serving in critical Secretary and Additional Secretary-level positions across the Central Government. These extensions impact top roles in the Prime Minister’s Office (PMO), the Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS), the National Capital Region Planning Board (NCRPB), and the National Archives of India.
