The 1982 batch IAS officer of Gujarat cadre, Tapan Ray who is currently Secretary in the Ministry of Corporate Affairs has been given the addl charge of the post of Secretary in the Dept of Economic Affairs on superannuation of Shaktikanta Das(IAS, TN:80) with effect from 1 June 2017.
