The Kerala government on Thursday offered the drinking water to its neighbouring state Tamil Nadu as large part of Tamil Nadu is facing the water scarcity issue. The government had expressed the willingness to transport 20 lakh liters of water by train to the parched areas but the offer was rejected by the Tamil Nadu’s Chief Minister office. They replied that it was not needed now.
