At the Public Sector Enterprises Selection Board meeting held on Monday selected T.Suvarna Raju as the next Chairman of Hindustan Aeronautics Ltd. Presently he is serving as Director (Design & Development), He was selected after interviewing five contenders on September 15,2014.
Other candidates who interviewed for the same post are,
- V.M.Chamola, Director (HR) and S.Subrahmanyam, Managing Director (MiG), both from HAL.
- Umesh Chandra, Executive Director, BEML.
- Air Marshal R.K.Dhir from the Ministry of Defence.
- R.K.Tyagi, the present Chairman of the Rs. 15,000 crore defence PSU.
