IAS officers T Mithra & Pradeep Kumar Jha have been assigned new roles at the Centre.
IAS officer of year 2009 batch T Mithra (KL) has been posted as Director (Census Operations) (JS level), Kerala, Office of the Registrar General and Census Commissioner, India, under the Ministry of Home Affairs.
T Mithra will be serving on the new post from the date of assumption of the charge of the post, for an overall tenure upto 31.12.2025, or until further orders, whichever is earlier. The appointment given to her via temporarily upgrading the post held by the officer from Director level to Joint Secretary level.
On the other hand, IAS officer Pradeep Kumar Jha (MN) has been appointed as Joint Secretary, Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs. Fom the date of assumption of the charge of the post, he will be serving for a tenure of five years, or until further orders, whichever is earlier vice Shri Rahul Kapoor, IRAS (2002).
