IAS officers Sunil Barthwal have been Rajesh Agarwal will be seen in new roles at the Centre now.
The Appointments Committee of the Cabinet (ACC) has approved the posting IAS officer Rajesh Agarwal (MN:94) who currently was serving as Additional Secretary in the Department of Commerce, Ministry of Commerce & Industry. Now with the new order he has now been elevated to the post of Special Secretary in the same department. He will subsequently take over as Secretary, Department of Commerce upon the superannuation of Mr Sunil Barthwal, IAS (BH:89) on 30.09.2025.
Simultaneously IAS Arvind Shrivastava (KN:94), who currently was serving as Additional Secretary in the Prime Minister’s Office (PMO), has been now appointed as Secretary, Department of Revenue, Ministry of Finance.
