Union Health Secretary Sudhansh Pant has been repatriated to cadre state of Rajasthan.
As per the recent decision of the Centre, one of the finest union secretaries Sudhansh Pant (IAS: 1991: RJ) has been repatriated to cadre state of Rajasthan.
The Centre has decided to place the Health Secretary Sudhansh Pant as the successor of Usha Sharma’s (IAS: 1985: RJ) who is the incumbent Chief Secretary retired on December 31, 2023.
Sudhansh Pant stands eighth on the order of seniority among Rajasthan cadre IAS officers. He is superseding 6 officers to become the chief secretary. The other six officers are V. Srinivas, Subodh Agarwal, Subhra Singh, Rohit Kumar Singh, Rajeshwar Singh and Sanjay Malhotra. Among these officers Sanjay Malhora and RK Singh are presumed to continue at Centre.
