According to the sources, Executive Director in the World Bank Subhash Chandra Garg may succeed ShaktiKanta Das on June 1 as Secretary Department of Economic Affairs (DEA). He is 1983 batch IAS officer of Rajasthan cadre. Shaktikanta Das, a Tamil Nadu cadre IAS officer is superannuating on May 31.
