IAS officers Anurag Agrawal and Chandra Sekhar Kumar has been appointed as Special Secretary in their respective departments.
The ACC has approved in-situ upgradation of the two above mentioned officers to the level of Special Secretary in the rank and pay of Secretary to the Government of India as a measure personal to them by temporarily upgrading the posts held by them.
IAS Anurag Agarwal, IAS (PB:1990) who is currently serving as Additional Secretary & Financial Advisor, Ministry of External Affairs, has been designated as Special Secretary & Financial Advisor, Ministry of External Affairs.
IAS officer Chandra Sekhar Kumar, (OD:1992), the present Additional Secretary, Ministry of Panchayati Raj has been posted as Special Secretary, Ministry of Panchayati Raj.
