Indian Space Research Organisation Scientist Somya S Sarkar has been given elevation grade-wise.
The Appointments Committee of the Cabinet has approved the
promotion of 67 Scientists/Engineers/Professors from the grade of Scientist ‘SG’ to the grade of Scientist ‘G’/Sr. ISRO Scientist Somya S Sarkar is also among the chosen ones who have been elevated.
As per the new order, Professors in Level 14 of the Pay Matrix, 22 Scientists/Engineers from the grade of Scientist ‘G’ & ‘G/H’ to the grade of ‘Outstanding Scientist’ in Level 15 of the Pay Matrix and 03 Scientists from the grade of ‘Outstanding Scientist’ to the grade of ‘Distinguished Scientist’ in Level 16 of the Pay Matrix, under Merit Promotion Scheme (MPS).
