The 1982 batch IAS officer of Karnataka cadre, Smt. Latha Krishna Rao has been appointed as Secretary in the Department of Social Justice & Empowerment, Ministry of Social Justice & Empowerment vice Smt Anita Agnihotri, on her superannuation. Prior to this he was serving in his cadre.
