IAS Smrutiranjan Mohanty has been given charge as Commissioner, Howrah Municipal Corporation in the state of West Bengal.
Through a circular issued by the competent authority the incumbent Special Secretary in the Youth Services & Sports Department, Indian Administrative Services officer Smrutiranjan Mohanty, has been entrusted a new responsibility as the Commissioner, Howrah Municipal Corporation in West Bengal.
Year 2015 batch IAS officer Smrutiranjan Mohanty hails from West Bengal cadre.
