Smriti Irani calls an emergency meeting to resolve the UGC-DU stand off over FYUP

Smriti Irani, HRD Minister has called up an emergency meeting of University Grants Commission (UGC) appointed 10 members Committee on today afternoon in order to bring an acceptable solution to the ongoing crisis related to the controversial four year undergraduate programme (FYUP).
Today, At 3 p.m. meeting is likely to take place, attended by the vice Chancellor of Delhi University, key representatives of UGC, the president of Delhi University Teacher Association and the Delhi University Students Union and the other representatives of college association.
