As many as six IRS-IT officers have been promoted to the grade of Principal Commissioner of Income Tax. They are: Harinder Bir Singh Gill, Yalavarti Rajendra, Mohanish Verma, Sukhvinder Kaur Khanna, Hemlatha Devi G V and Valluri Srinivas.
