As many as six IAS officers have been transferred by the Punjab Government. Accordingly,
- Venu Prasad has been posted as secretary, higher education.
- C. Siben has been posted as executive director, Punjab State Scheduled Castes Land Development and Finance Corporation, after his return from one-month training period.
- Roshan Sunkaria, Financial commissioner will head the rural development and panchayats department in place of principal secretary A Venu Prasad.
- Sukhjit Singh Bains has replaced C Siben as the director of the department.
- Kirpa Shankar Saroj, will be secretary, printing and stationery, in addition secretary, welfare of SC/BC.
- Amit Dhaka, managing director,will be Punjab Small Industries and Export Corporation.
