IPS officers Simrat Kaur and Jagbinder Singh have been assigned new responsibilities in the state of Punjab.
A bureaucratic reshuffle in the state of Punjab witnesses transfer of transferred one Indian Police Service (IPS) officer along with one Provincial Police Service (PPS) officer with immediate effect.
Year 2016 batch IPS Simrat Kaur has been transferred and given new posting as AIG Counter Intelligence Patiala. She will also hold an additional charge of AIG, State Special Operation cell (SSOC), SAS Nagar.
With transfer PPS officer Jagbinder Singh has been posted as additional Deputy Commissioner of Police (ADCP-1), Ludhiana.
