IAS Shruti Singh has been appointed as Resident Commissioner of Punjab.
Following a reshuffle by the Punjab Government, two IAS officers, will work as Resident Commissioner, Punjab Bhawan, this will be in addition to her present assignments.
Year 2005 batch IAS officer Shruti Singh hails from Punjab cadre. With the new role she is relieving Rahul Bhandari from the post of Principal Resident Commissioner, Punjab Bhawan, New Delhi.
IAS Shruti Bhandari has been asked to report to the department of personnel as soon as possible. The orders will be issued later in this regard.
