IRS officer Shilpi Chopda has been designated as Deputy Secretary in the Department of Defence, Delhi.
IRS officer Shilpi Chopda was earlier recommended for Central deputation by the Department of Revenue. Now the Appointment Committee of the Cabinet (ACC) has mandated her name for appointment on the position of as Deputy Secretary in the Department of Defence, Delhi.
A year 2015 batch IRS officer Shilpi Chopda (IT) has been selected for the appointment under the Central Staffing Scheme. Now with the new order she will be serving on the new post for a period of four years from the date of taking over charge of the post or until further orders, whichever event takes place earlier.
