Seven states, 64 Constituencies for the eight phase: LS Polls

Today is eight phase of Lok Sabha election, conducting in seven states and 64 Constituencies.The turn out of voters till 1:00 PM:

Andhra Pradesh- 41.56%

Bihar – 36.18 %

Himachal Pradesh – 37.03 %

Jammu and Kashmir – 23.61 %

Uttar Pradesh – 36.15 %

West Bengal – 48.03 %

Uttarakhand – 31.97 %

This phase is significant for the prestige battles to play out in Amethi for Rahul, Varun Gandhi in Sultanpur, in Saran for Rabri Devi, Hajipur for Ram Vilas Paswan. Besides, two former CMs of Uttarakhand Gen BC Khanduri, Ramesh Nishank in Uttarakhand and Union Minister Beni Prasad Verma from Gonda, UP, Parliamentary seats.
