As many as seven officers have been appointed at Joint Secretary and Joint Secretary level in the Govt of India. Accordingly,
- Ajay Tirkey, lAS (MP:1987) appointed as Joint Secretary, Department of School Education & Literacy in the Ministry of Human Resource Development vice Y.S.K. Seshu Kumar, IFS(UP 1987).
- Rabindra Kumar Karna, IDAS (1991) appointed as Additional FA & Joint Secretary, Ministry of Defence(Finance) vice Ms. Devika Raghuvanshi, IDAS (1988).
- Sanjay Kumar Rakesh, lAS (TR:1990) appointed as Joint Secretary Ministry of Electronics & Information Technology by temporarily shifting a post of ADG (Director level) [vice Shri. Rohani K Gautam, IDSE (1987)] in UIDAI to the Ministry of Electronics & Information Technology and temporarily upgrading the same to Joint Secretary level for a period of two years or till a vacant post of Joint Secretary arises in that Ministry.
- Pradip Kumar Tripathi, lAS (JK:1987) appointed as Joint Secretary, Department of Personnel & Training, Ministry of Personnel, Public Grievances & Pensions vice Shri P.K.Das, IAS(MP:1986).
- Rajneesh, IAS(HP:1997), as Joint Secretary, Department of Commerce, Ministry of Commerce & Industry vice Shri G. Mohapatra, IAS(GJ:1986).
- Ms. V. Radha, lAS (MH:1994), as Joint Secretary, Ministry of Drinking Water & Sanitation by upgrading a post of Director to JS level.
- Premature repatriation of Umang Narula, lAS (JK:1989), Chairman & Managing Director, India Tourism Development Corporation, Ministry of Tourism, to his parent cadre with immediate effect.
