As many as seven IRS officers of Income tax cadre have been appointed as Member, Settlement Commission. Accordingly,

1. Ashok Kumar Sinha (1981 batch), for New Delhi Bench against the vacancy dated 12.06.2014.
2. Sunil Kumar Misra, (1981 batch) for Chennai Bench against the vacancy dated 10.04.2014.
3. Baldip Singh Sandhu, (1981 batch) for New Delhi Bench against the vacancy dated 18.10.2015.
4. Sudhir Kumar, (1981 batch) for Mumbai Bench against the vacancy dated 02.12.2015.
5. S.M. Ashraf, (1981 batch)for Kolkata Bench against the vacancy dated 15.06.2014.
6. Hukum Chand Jain,(1981 batch) for Kolkata Bench against the vacancy dated 23.03.2016.
7. K. Ramalingam, (1981 batch) for Chennai Bench against the vacancy dated 10.12.2015.
