Senior IPS Amitabh Gupta has been Appointed as IG in the Indo-Tibetan Border Police (ITBP).
Following a recently issued directive from the competent authority, name of senior IPS Amitabh Gupta has been mandated for the position of the IG in the Indo-Tibetan Border Police (ITBP).
A year 1992-batch Maharashtra cadre IPS officer, Amitabh Gupta has been given the new posting on a deputation basis. Now he will be serving on the post from the date of joining the post and up to 30th June 2029, which is the date of his superannuation or till further orders. , whichever ends earlier.
